Industry tickets can be ordered via the order form which can be downloaded here. General public tickets can be purchased from Ticketek at www.ticketek.com, call 132 849, or visit any Ticketek agency. As the Hall of Fame has sold out every year we encourage you to order your tickets early.
The Hall of Fame is a highlight of Australia's entertainment calendar. The induction for each artist includes an audio-video presentation of the inductee's career highlights, an induction speech by an eminent person with a connection to the inductee, an acceptance speech by the inductee, and finally a performance by the inductee or another artist performing the inductee's songs (or combination of both). The event takes place over dinner, and the night concludes with an after-party at a venue close to the Melbourne Town Hall. General public tickets do not include dinner or access to the after-show party.
The Hall of Fame Advisory Committee compiles a shortlist of appropriate inductees each year for recommendation to the ARIA Board. The final decision rests with the ARIA Board.
It is a ARIA's intention to make available copies of all ARIA Hall of Fame events. However, at this stage they are not yet available for sale.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is award at the discretion of the ARIA Board. It honours a significant industry player who, during his/her lifetime, has been involved in, supported and promoted the Australian music industry to Australia and the world.
The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) is a national industry association proactively representing the interests of its members, who number more than 100 and range from small boutique record labels, to medium-sized organisations and very large companies with international affiliates. ARIA also stages the annual ARIA Awards and the ARIA #1 Chart Awards. For more information on ARIA click here.
